2013 Emilia Sparkling Chenin Blanc
* 6 bottle case - This is our 2nd Sparkling made and has sat on lees for 7 years. Since disgorging it in 2021...it has Golden hues accompanied by notes of ripe yellow peach, melon, lemon zest, vanilla and honeysuckle. Oh and don’t forget the pétillance that pricks your tongue all thanks to “methode-traditional”. After 10 years in the bottle this wine has surpassed its youth and grown up to develop beautiful ripeness and richness. 2018 Speak Like An Italian Vermentino
Paying tribute to the beautiful wines of Sardinia, Italy, this is a slight step away from the traditional Vermentino. A more developed nose of walnuts, almond skins and soft jasmine undertones as well as all the familiar flavours of Vermentino on the palate- lemon, lime, green pear, and orange. This variety having only arrived in Australia in 2004 shows that it is adaptable to warmer climates and trust us it doesn’t get much hotter than Gin Gin!

2015 Speak Like An Italian Chenin Blanc

2021 Speak Like An Italian Rose
90% grenache 10% shiraz Drink now or will age for another 4-5 years. A pink wine made seriously…Grenache dominant plus a splash of shiraz made from 4 months in season French oak barrels. An enticing pale salmon colour with pink and silver hues. Aromas of pink grapefruit, strawberries vanilla, spice with wafts of herbal freshness. A tender caress in the mouth with the intent of oak giving a soft creamy and textural mouthfeel. Bone dry but the texture and ripeness on the palate draws out this wine’s complexity, showing what rosé is capable of.

Flavours from age are prominent in this wine- prunes, dried fig, orange rind and overripe strawberries. A savoury undertone reveals itself through notes of cedar, toast and bay leaf. With Grenache being some of the oldest grape vines in Australia this wine showcases its ability for both power and finesse.

2018 Speak Like An Italian Shiraz/Grenache
Shiraz and grenache- the best of friends that work harmoniously together when blended. Power and intensity strikes the nose and rich savoury notes make you feel as though you’ve just opened a jar of nonna’s tomato passata. Cranberries, black cherries and ripe red plums are accompanied by star anise and rhubarb. A medium bodied wine held up by fine tannins with a smooth and deliciously rich finish.

2022 Speak Like An Italian Cabernet Sauvignon
With this grape seeking the warmer corners of the globe what better place for this noble variety to thrive in than the sunny terroir here at Torrent. Plush notes of violets, black cherries, blackcurrant and blueberries backed up by cedar and toast. A full-bodied palate that is oh so ripe with flavours of blackberries, cranberries, menthol and smoke. Generous and intense with hints of vanillin from oak and prominent tannins carrying on the length. “Perfecto!” if you ask us. Enjoy with food now but can most definitely be long lived.
